Leaders' Protection Against Their Own Heart
Each person is subject to temptation, a leader more so, when they are lured internally and/or enticed by their own self-centered desire. When desire is conceived, it gives birth to sin, and sin (self-inflected nonsense) when it is fully rooted brings forth death (separation from God).
Pastors don’t fall because one day, they decide to dive headlong into sin. The slide into sin happens in slow motion, over time, in small increments, as the leader believes or gives in to the lies presented to them by the flesh. Pray that your leader would be on guard against the lies of sin.
James 1:14-15
But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Jehovah Tsidkenu (The Lord Our Righteousness), Jeremiah 23:6 ; as we give thanks for wisdom in the hearts of our leaders against temptation and self-centered desire we are graced by Your presence in their lives. We praise You because You have shown them the lust in their hearts and the death that follows. We declare blessings in the life of our leader so that the decisions and choices they make will embrace and open the hearts and minds of men to Your Glory. This we pray with an anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior, Amen.
