To Be Crucified With Christ
The idea of crucifixion bears heavy thoughts of the pain that our Savior suffered to pay for our sins, past, present and future. The Apostle Paul suggests this to the Church in Galatia and to the Body Worldwide that as Christ suffered as Christians so are we to live a life of a Christ who paid the cost for our sins in faith.
Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Precious Lord, we extend thanks to You for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who suffered in our place. We extol praise for the life that we live now in the flesh because it is not our lives but the lives that we live now, we live because of the sacrifice of our Savior. We declare blessings on the saints of God so that those who are crucified might live in Christ Jesus. This we pray with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.
