Sleep in Peace When you lay down you should be in peace. The cares of this world are not suppose to be a part of your dreams or rest but the comfort of God through Jesus Christ will cover you and and give you sweet rest. The Psalmist suggests two things while laying down, peace and sleep. Let the peace of God rule and abide in you and give you peace.
Psalm 4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
Gracious Lord, we thank you for the privilege of having peace. We praise you for establishing in our hearts and minds the safety of Your peace. We decree and declare that whatsoever comes to us will grant us peace, so that in our relationship with You we will find safety. This we pray with an anointing in the name of Jesus. Amen.
