Fixing A Morally Bad decision

Forgiveness Is A Blessing

The best idea of a blessing is the act of forgiveness. We consider a blessing a positive increase in what we have or an addition to what we don't have. The bad decision that we made has not been a positive blessing to someone else, in fact they probably considered it a curse. Jesus gives us a command to follow Him and to follow Him means to deny ourselves. It is usually our desire to satisfy ourselves that causes the bad decision. The profit of a good decision is that we gain our soul salvation. Our salvation is layered in the decision to follow Christ which requires a self- denial bringing us to the foot of the cross. Seeking forgiveness is a blessing not a curse and those who seek it will find life those who ignore it will not be happy.

Matthew 16:24-26

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Our God, Our Father, we thank you for the instruction of denial. We lift up praise to You for the cross. We decree and declare blessings upon those who will deny themselves and follow Christ, so that we may build the kingdom of God. This we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
