Fixing a Morally-Bad Decision series
Press Forward This continuing thought of being progressive and pressing forward comes from the old testament where the Prophet Isaiah talks to the Children of Israel who were suffering with depression thinking about the trials of the past. The encouragement comes in the announcement that God says He will do a new thing and questions if they will recognize it? Do we recognize the new thing God is doing for us or are we stuck looking back at what happen when? God promises to make a way in our darkness and turmoil but will we face the Son and press forward?
Isaiah 43:18-19 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
God My Helper (Psalm 54:4), for the promise of new things we thank You. When thoughts of giving up press our souls and we hear Your Words leave the old things in the past we praise You. We declare and decree blessings as we walk through the wilderness and the rivers in the deserts of our journey, so that we may rise up with a testimony of Your Goodness and Mercy and declare the truth of Your Love. For the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
