Fixing Morally-Bad Decisions series
Stop Looking Back
Fixing the morally-bad decision to look back every time something goes wrong is counter productive and ignores that God has cast what He has forgiven into the sea of forgetfulness. Paul says that is the one thing that he does is to press toward the mark for the prize of the high call of God in Christ Jesus. He's telling us to look forward after you repent. You will have enough challenges from people and family who forget that you were them at one point in their lives. Remember your "board of directors" they people who will truthfully tell you to press when it's hard, to seek God's face when other ways seem so easy, to listen to the Spirit of God when everyone around you is trying to remind you about how you used to be. Fix it and walk on.
Philippians 3:13-14
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
God Our Refuge, when we move by Your Spirit we thank you. When the cries for conviction overpower the truth, we praise You. Today, we decree and declare with power of understanding blessings for the revelations that You are turning things around in our lives, so that seekers will find You in each day of their lives. For the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
