The Give-Up Season series
Correction In Direction
In this paradox Jesus declared the importance of celebrating His life for there would be a forthcoming time when He would be remembered and not seen. Judas could care less about the poor, his interest was in the money that he carried, collected and distributed for the sake of Christ and the sake of the kingdom which he took offense to such a large gift given to the kingdom that did not pass through his hands. We sometimes get caught up with how others bless God when the glory doesn't get processed by us. In other words we feel like there is a need to control what is given to God even we don't carry the bag. Give, however God directs you because He is the sole benefactor of our grace.
John 12:6-8
This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein. Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying hath she kept this. For the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
God My Exceeding Joy (Psalm 43:4), for not giving us the nature of Judas we say thank You in gladness. We come joyfully singing Your praise for we know why You died for us. We decree and declare blessings that Your life is worth more than the suffering of the poor who are with us always, and the things what we do in remembrance of thee, so that grace and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives as we do the work of the Kingdom. For the sake of the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
