Speak No Abominations

Think it, Speak It, Act It series

Speak No Abominations

When you open your mouth to speak two things can happen, you can speak truth or you can tell a lie. A lie is an intentional statement to misleads (it hurts) or misdirects away from the truth and here we are told that it is an abomination, something that God hates. We have our own personal list of abominations, things that strongly irritate us. Lies are an abomination to God but truth speakers are His Joy. What side are you on?

Proverbs 12:22

Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.

Immanuel, God with us (Isaiah 7:14); we come with thanksgiving in our hearts for allowing us to be a source of Joy to You. We come in a oneness of spirit speaking praise for truth that brings You delight. We decree and declare blessings from heaven upon the lives that edify truth, so that in truth we will please the Lord God Almighty. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom we pray, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
