Before You Speak, Pause

Think it, Speak It, Act It series

Before You Speak, Pause

People who tend to spill their guts, or empty their intellectual bucket are cautioned to be reminded of this proverb. It is not wise to share everything you know about anything without some pause to ascertain the legitimacy of the point. Everything that is prudent is not always necessary and there are times when you need to qualify your audience. Can they comprehend your deposit or do they even appreciate the quantity of time or reach of the information? Wise people give after they pause and qualify their agenda with purpose. How will you approach your next conversation?

Proverbs 29:11

A fool uttereth all his mind: but a wise man keepeth it in till afterwards.

Jehovah Jireh (The LORD Will Provide, Genesis 22:14); we thank You, Most High God for the instruction of the wise. We praise You because You care for us and provide for us. We declare and decree blessings upon those who hear and understand and obey Your instruction to pause and qualify Your Wisdom, so that those who come into the Kingdom of God will demonstrate good counsel and attend to Your every Word. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
