Charity Gives
In the Biblical transliteration of charity, the word love is used to convey the meaning of the love of giving which is spiritually the way that God loves, love has a sacrifice. We try to duplicate the moral example of love by giving what we feel demonstrates love. In Biblical Greek love is noted in four main ways, Storge, Philla, Eros and Agape. The Apostle Paul instructed the church in Corinth about the Agape love, the God Kind of Love. God demonstrated His Agape by giving up His Son for our sins. For us it is not the physical love that he desires but the truth in the spirit. Which type of Love do you demonstrate to show God your love for Him?
1 Corinthians 13:4-6
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
God of Love, Agape- we call upon Your Spirit to guide us in our sacrifice of Love and for this we thank You. We establish truth in victory for the Agape Love where in we stand free to give our praise to You. We declare and decree blessings upon those who join in the sacrifice that we make for the building of the Kingdom of God, so that where in we give abundantly the true sacrifice in the oneness of the Spirit for purpose and strength. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
