We Are First Fruits
First fruits are the best of the best, what comes from truth is the best that can be because it comes from God. In the book of James, God takes credit for us, and His redemption in the Word of Truth. We are the first fruits of God. We are made for the Glory of God and for the sake of the Kingdom. He gave us the Gift of His Son and we give back the offering of first fruits this is truth. The consequences of Exodus 22 outline and detail what happens when we fail to adhere to the truth.
James 1:18
Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.
Exodus 22:1-4
If a man shall steal an ox, or a sheep, and kill it, or sell it; he shall restore five oxen for an ox, and four sheep for a sheep. If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him.
Elohei Mikkarov (God who is near, Jeremiah 23:23); we humbly thank you for making us first fruit. We praise You because Your Word is true and we are made in Your image and likeness. We declare and decree blessings upon those who are begotten with the Word of Truth, so that they who follow will be first fruits of God for the growth of the Kingdom of God. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
