Speak Truth To Everyone
The Truth of Zechariah is that the commandment of God to speak Truth is not conditional. Some commandments are conditional but speaking the Truth to your neighbor is not conditional, the judgment of Truth comes at the price of peace in your home. There are those who would like to prevaricate or deviate from the Truth based on selfish desires but God is not pleased, nor is allowing us to lie to our neighbors. The importance of telling the Truth to your neighbor is predicated or strongly based upon the trust that you are supposed to have as neighbors. Untrustworthy neighbors mean poor relationships and is a natural lack of peace. Press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:14)
Zechariah 8:16
These are the things that ye shall do; Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates:
Romans 13:1-5
Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same: For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.
