5 Things to Know About Faithfulness
1. Faith and faithfulness are connected — In both the Old and New Testaments, faith suggests the concept of faithfulness.
Faith is the fruit or product of the Spirit. Faith is belief, assurance of God’s Word and all that He has done. Faithfulness is living in accord with that Truth. In other words, faith leads to faithfulness - Faith is not merely a mental assent, (it is the expression of approval or agreement,) that we trust in God; it is the willingness to act on this trust in God (Everett Henes).
The hack: Allow your faith to lead to faithfulness and trust God to do what He's always done and continue to do.
Galatians 5:22-25
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
The LORD the Judge, Jehovah Hashopet (Judges 11:27); we thank You Lord Almighty for the production of Spiritual Fruit. We praise You for these things that there are no laws against. We declare and decree blessings upon those who embrace and engage in the production of the Spirit to bring forth the fruit, so that we who are crucified in the flesh with affection and self-inflected nonsense (SIN), we who live in the Spirit will walk in the Spirit. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
