Faith, The Lifestyle of Saints
Faith Not Fooled
We are not to be fooled by what men say, that one has the gift of faith and another say that they have the gift of works. Spiritual imagination carries both for it is the combination of the two as one that perfect faith is demonstrated.
If we separate our faith from our works we have nothing and if we separate our works from our faith we prove nothing. What we do for Christ will last, 2 Corinthians 5:9–10 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.
Belief in one God is good but devils believe and tremble, but they have no good works, they don't have the work of God through Jesus Christ. The works of devils is evil but the works inspired by God are good. Devils can not confess Jesus as Lord because they can not do His work. Anybody can make the confession of faith, however; without God work their confession is worthless. A committed heart will seek to do the work of Jesus Christ and not the works of ourselves.
James 2:18
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
The LORD My Rock, Jehovah Sal’I (Psalm 18:2); we thank You for combining our faith with the evidence with Your work. We praise You for the our belief in the True Living God. We decree and declare blessings upon those who do not separate Your faith from Your works, so that by Your works our faith becomes alive and lives the evidence of faith by works. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
