Faith Without Works

Faith, The Lifestyle of Saints

Faith Without Works

The idea that faith without works is dead coincides with prayer without work is dead and consequently, works without faith is dead and works without prayer is dead.

James 2:14

What [doth it] profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

Here we have two questions in this scripture that bring sharp attention to the purpose of faith and works, and consequently since faith is the base for prayer; prayer shares the same relationship with work.

Work is the human sized, doable things that God has given us by free will to control; and faith is the spiritual directive that directs our earth bound problem with intention through Jesus Christ. There is a need to do something to provoke or motivate our faith, hence a man who says he has faith and is complacent or does nothing to test his faith, will find no result of his faith.

The LORD My Shepherd, Jehovah Roi (Psalm 23:1); we thank You for the faith with works. We praise You for the understanding of faith and prayer and their connection to works. We decree and declare blessings upon those who seek the profit of the Kingdom, so that by works our faith is made whole and becomes the evidence of faith with works. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
