Faith, The Lifestyle of Saints
Faith Needs Work
The vanity of mankind believes what it wants to believe and whatever way it wants to believe that’s why we call it vanity or excessive pride (the first sin). The Apostle is in a way rebuking his audience by asking the question, 'Don’t you know that your faith without works is worthless?'
Our faith must fuel our works and our works, our spiritual works demands faith. We must believe that what we are doing by faith is for God and what we do, we do believing that it is what God wants us to do. This builds a very tight circle with also includes prayer, but that’s another lesson.
James 2:20
But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
The LORD (our) Peace, Jehovah Shalom (Judges 6:24); we thank You for the power to believe. We give You praise for the understanding of vanity and the worth of works by faith. We declare and decree blessings upon those who don't feed vanity into their spirituality, so that by seasoning in the Word we grow the Kingdom of God with a harvest filled by works in faith. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
