Powerful Contentions in Faith

Faith, The Lifestyle of Saints

think outside the box

Powerful Contentions in Faith In the truest sense of understanding, faith has several meanings and each requires an examination according to the context, to clearly be understood. This faith is the declaration of a corporate body, a particular body or group one attaches themselves too for spiritual reasons, as in the Catholic faith or the Pentecostal faith.

Paul in this situation is making a clarification for believers who were based in Judaism and have spiritual kindred, who are Gentiles. In today's social Church environments, especially in Western cultures, people with multiple generations in Church are unconsciously considered "orthodox" and first-generation converts are considered subconsciously as "gentiles" because they don't have a Church legacy or generations to buffer them.

There are two major distinctions in this text, those who are "gentiles" or considered weak in the "faith" or the corporate body and the "doubtful disputations" the things that the "orthodox" say and reflect on about the questionable substance and evidence that "newcomers" bring to the table.

Romans 14:1 Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

The God of the House of God, El Bethel (Genesis 35:7); we thank You for the recognition of our weaknesses where we move beyond the doubtful disputations. We praise You for the corporate grouping we call faith. We decree and declare blessings upon those who refuse the orthodox way of ostracizing or excluding "gentiles," so that; growth into the Kingdom of God is tempered with the Caring of God. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and for the Glory of God, we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
