Faith Flows Living Water When we believe on Jesus Christ as the scriptures say then we can expect rivers of living water to flow in our lives. If we thirst for righteousness, then we should heed to the invitation of Christ (John 7:37) to come to Him. For in Him is the source of our deliverance, salvation and the extension of grace through the Holy Spirit.
The undertone of this verse is revealed in the pretext, Jesus was at the Temple in Jerusalem for the Feast of Booths (the celebration of Moses bringing water in the desert for the thirsty). The Jews held heritage in a very high and important place and our rush for modern socialization we tend to forget ours; nevertheless, Jesus understood this and stated His awareness in John 7:28-29 to the high priest and Pharisees and the people yet hungered for miracles.
In John 7:39 we see that the rivers of living water are a reference to the Holy Spirit, Jesus didn't refer to Himself but to the Father in the Holy Spirit who flows all things of righteousness and the fulfillment of prophecy symbolized by this deliverance of salvation. John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
Father, ‘Ab (Psalm 68:5); we thank You for the flow of righteousness, wherein we celebrate salvation. We praise You for the actions of Jesus demonstrated by Moses in the wilderness for our thirst. We decree and declare blessings upon those who seek salvation, so that; the heritage of our Savior can be manifested into the Kingdom of God. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
