26. He Convicts
The Holy Spirit convicts all humanity. Conviction is a formal declaration of guilt. We are guilty of self-inflicted nonsense, our choice of denying God's Will for our lives. Our righteousness and judgments are contaminated with the characteristic stench of disobedience. Will we repent of our convictions?
John 16:8
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
Eternal God, we thank you for your Holy Spirit that will reprove the world, our self-inflicted nonsense (SIN), and righteousness. We praise you for the coming of the Holy Spirit. We declare and decree blessings upon those who live in the time of judgment, so that, the Spirit of Truth will guide us into all Truth. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition the anointing, the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
