Where do we find our strength? In our song to the Lord, our God!
A Song of Deliverance
Psalm 32:7-8
You are my hiding place; You shall preserve me from trouble; You shall surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah. I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
This contemporaneous sonnet describing the deep sense of deliverance or liberation from self-inflicted nonsense (SIN) compels us to repetitively hum this tune. King David reflected on the uncomfortable condition of an arrogant sinner in Psalm 32; he had been one himself. This means one who stifles their convictions having problems seeing the evil of sin, easing themselves by not thinking about it, and diverting their minds somewhere else. The key to deliverance is singing a song that reveals Him as your hiding place.
El Simchath Gili, God My Exceeding Joy - Psalm 43:4; we thank You for exceeding joy in our hiding place. We come in a spirit of oneness to be preserved from trouble. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who call on the Name of the Lord in songs of deliverance, so that; we who sing will know Him in instruction and guidance. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
