Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Where do we find our strength? In the Lord, our God!
A Song To Sing
Psalm 9:9-10
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
The psalms are primarily songs sung as Hebrew poetry. This psalm is referred to as a song of Muth-labben, some have acclaimed it as a song sung over Goliath's victory, but our interest is in the type of song it resonates today. When we hear this verse, it raises our spirit as it pulsates the testimony of God- our refuge for the oppressed and those in trouble. Sing praises to the Lord, unto His people!
El Rai, God Seest Me - Genesis 16:13; we lift our hands steadfastly to You with eternal thanks. With a spirit of oneness, we constantly praise You with this song upon our lips. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who call on the Name of the Lord in songs of victory, so that; we who sing, know Him in the season of victory. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
