A Wrong Impression Of The Nature of God

Our impression (Proverbs 17:10) of God affects the way that we receive God. Notice the "u" in "our" inflects the mentality that our impression of the nature of God is proprietary, it's individualistic. Each of us makes an indigent independent decision (Jeremiah 33:3). If you have the wrong impression of God, then what you are expecting from Him will not be what you are looking for.

There is a level of expectation (Colossians 1:5) that we have developed based on the way that we were raised, the experiences (Romans 5:3-5) we have endured, the paths that we have chosen and even if we could do it all over again, there would be a realization that all this happen to make us who we are. Some of us use our past to motivate us into our future, but the nature of God (John 4:24) allows us to make choices that will determine our future. God is not here to save us that is the job of Jesus, and He gives us the chance to choose wisely, but it's our choice.

2 Peter 1:3-4

According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

The LORD, the Lord of All the Earth, Jehovah Adon Kol Ha-arets (Joshua 3:11), we thank You for the right impression of Your Nature. We praise You for our impression to see You in our individualistic viewpoint and respect the views of others. We decree and declare blessings upon those who choose to have an expectation that signifies Your Divine Plan, so that; with the Nature of God, we choose righteousness. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
