Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Be Still -God
Psalm 46:10
Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
They haven't put this on a billboard yet, but the message is clear. During this pandemic, we have been given directions and stay at home orders, and most of us hear them loud and clear, but some people are missing the whole point- be still! The response to the command is "know that I am God," and part three is the understanding "exalt Him in the earth." In David's eloquence, we must do three things, be still, hold God in higher before the sin of this world, and recognize that He is God, Almighty.
The Everlasting God - Psalm 90:1-2, Psalm 90:4
What a magnificent thing to know that in a changing world, God does not change! Time does not alter God. There are no surprises about God, and for that, we give Him thanks eternal. For the stillness of our souls and the knowing of who God is, we lift our hearts in praise. We declare and decree blessings for those who exalt the Lord God Almighty, so that; our combined voices rise above the dim of this world to raise the Truth to all the world. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
