Better Than…
The theological commentator Matthew Henry says, Love will sweeten a dry morsel, but strife will sour and embitter a house full of sacrifices. It may be better to have less with love than to have a lot with strife. Don't be blinded or mislead by the illusion of fullness but rather desire for quietness in Worship for the Lord.
Proverbs 17:1
Better is a dry morsel, and quietness therewith, than an house full of sacrifices with strife.
El Emunah, The Faithful God (Deuteronomy 7:9); we thank you for the sweet dry morsel. We praise you for the quietness of our souls. We declare and decree blessings upon those who seek Your Will and collaborate upon the Peace of Your Word. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom we petition, with an anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
