Blind Men Who Found Jesus- Performance of Jesus
The impact of healing consistently involves two crucial parts, Faith and Belief. The faith to ask and the belief to confirm the action of performance with the modus of glorifying God. Two blind men, two men who could not see anything, relying on others, followed the Son of David, the image is beyond reality, they accomplished that few would even attempt, they followed a man they could not see. We follow Jesus without seeing Him, but by listening and believing (2 Corinthians 5:7), we accept, believe, and confess.
Jesus qualifies the belief of the blind seeking healing- do you believe? (Matthew 9:28). According to your faith, be it unto you… (Matthew 8:28). Faith without works is dead and works without faith is dead, so when the blind men put in the work by Faith, Jesus got permission to heal them because they believed. An interesting point about blindness during Biblical times is it was a possible method of contracting a disease, unclean conditions were and still are subject to cause disease resulting in natural and spiritual blindness (2 Corinthians 4:4). Ironic is that sin (self-inflicted nonsense) is an unclean condition where deliverance can only come from Jesus. Our source is sanctification by the benefit of the Holy Ghost with the Blood of Jesus.
The performance aspect of Jesus is that whatever He did and does is for the Glory of God (John 11:40, Hebrews 1:3). When we have questions about when does our Faith in Jesus work, all you have to is ask yourself, 'is how is this going to Glorify God.' Am I willing and actively engaged in doing the Will of God for His Glory? Can I be transparent, can I employ kenosis like Jesus, can I surrender my will for His? This is not lip service time (Isaiah 29:13).
Matthew 9:27-31
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, [Thou] Son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See [that] no man know [it]. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.
The LORD My Banner, Jehovah Nissi (Exodus 17:15), we thank You for You know the performance of our Faith. We praise You because You see the level of our belief. We decree and declare blessings upon those who act with Faith and Works so that, with the sacrifice of our will, we Glorify the Lord. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
