Call His Name?

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

Where do we find our strength? In the Lord, our God!

Call His Name?

Proverbs 18:10

The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

There is power in the name, but don't confuse calling Him as if He is a genie in the bottle. His name refers to His attributes, and we can call Him, in whatever state we are in, as our Savior. His tower represents our salvation from His justice over self-inflicted nonsense (sin) because we owe Him everything. We who obey His Word find the expression of safety a reality in the Grace of salvation. Solomon wrote this proverb to be a precursor to the allegory of Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21, and Romans 10:13. The righteous will see it and understand how it.

Elohim Machase Lanu, God Our Refuge- Psalm 62:8; we thank You for your name's attributes. For our salvation, we praise Your Holy Name. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know God, so that; the Truth of Salvation saves us. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
