Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Where do we find our strength? In the Lord, our God!
Call His Name? pt 3
Acts 2:21
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
As many do, this scripture is quoted without reference to the author nor acknowledgment of the background passage; it's just used without justification to qualify an act without understanding. Without qualification calling the name of the Lord, which appears to be acrological (something that sounds natural), but there is a polemic statement undergirding its primus. In the prior verses of 17-20, the preclusion of young men and women, in general, refined the engagement of the effusion of the Holy Ghost. We can only call Him if we read and understand the application of John 15:15-16.
Elohim Shophtim Ba-arets, God that Judgeth in the Earth- Psalm 58:11; we who struggle with the Holy Spirit's effusion call Your Name, and we thank you. As we bend our knees to offer supplication, we praise You for releasing Your Spirit to all people. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who You have chosen to call Your Name, so that; by Your Spirit, all mankind can prophesy and tell of Your goodness. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
