Instinct series
Instinct And Missed Opportunity
In our narrative (Luke 2:7), records one of the greatest missed opportunities, is that of the innkeeper who missed the most blessed birth in the world, because there was a lack of capacity. Reading the text, you may miss the fact that Kings are accustomed to being birthed in a palace with fine linens and soft stuff, but Jesus was born in a manager.
Are you allowing your sensitivities to assault your opportunities? How many opportunities has God brought you into but, because of your fear, you have walked away from them? Can you remember that time that you wish you had 'a did what came in your first mind? King Herod (Matthew 2:2) looked for baby Jesus and an indecisive Pontius Pilot (Matthew 27:22) talked with the manifested Savior and both of them by instinct missed an opportunity.
Luke 2:7
And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
God Seest Me, El Rai (Genesis 16:13), we thank You for the reception of the King of Kings who engages us as heirs and joint-heirs. We praise You for the instinct to receive an opportunity by Faith of our blessed Savior. We decree and declare blessings upon those who act with confidence and with Faith, so that; by the birth of the firstborn son, wrapped in swaddling clothes becomes the Savior of the world, now and forevermore. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
