Performance In Christianity series
Developing Spiritual Power
Performance is normally measured on the accomplishments of the individual but in the Spirit, it is measured by the power or dunamis of His Son, Jesus Christ. What we envision as performance is the work that is the result of Faith through Jesus (Genesis 2:3). Faith with works or the actions stimulated by our Faith in Jesus Christ is empirical, its verifiable, it is the axioms of our belief.
The Disciples followed Jesus because they saw a demonstration of His power, He was a King and the Son of God, but they are human. Our narrative points out various keys to our performance in Christianity but chiefly the empowerment of the Holy Ghost (Acts 1:8). We in and of ourselves have no power over nature; we where not given power of the elements of nature but the by the power of the Almighty we can do what He gives us the power to do (Daniel 4:17) as long as it to His Glory and His Will (Romans 13:1-5).
Matthew 8:23-27
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.
The LORD… the Sword, Jehovah Chereb (Deuteronomy 33:29), we thank You for the right to develop our Spiritual Power. We praise You for our measurement of dunamis enabled by our Faith in Jesus Christ. We decree and declare blessings upon those who depend on Your transfusion of Holy Ghost power, so that; as we use the power of Jesus to endow upon this world souls will be saved. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
