Developing Spiritual Power -2

Performance In Christianity series

Developing Spiritual Power -2

We measure performance with the results of human-made things, but, it is never as powerful as the things of God. Our process of working for God is performed in the elocution or smooth talk of Christianity. We speak strongly about what we should do, but real power is what we do for Christ. Jesus said I must do the work of Him who sent me (John 9:4).

Moses temporarily demonstrated the Power of God. In the Old Testament, the baptism of the Holy Ghost was not able to dwell in man due to the lack of payment or redemption by the Blood by Christ. With the narrative of Moses in Exodus, we see the faith of Moses exemplified by a test. Pharaoh demonstrated his power by sorcerers, and Moses showed him that His God was greater. Greater is He that is within me than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4, so why do we hesitate to do what He says?

Exodus 7:11-12

Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments. For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

LORD of Hosts, Jehovah Tsaba (1 Samuel 17:45), we thank You for the observations through the Spirit. We praise You for the demonstrations of Your Power that prove, over and over again, Your Love and Your Omniscience. We decree and declare blessings upon those who act with Faith and faint not, so that; with the Power of God, we stand upon His Word, for without it, we can do nothing. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
