Don’t Get Bamboozled

The Give-Up Season series

Don’t Get Bamboozled

In Mark, we learn about vain worship, and this is especially important in lent. As we look toward the cross, Satan is absolutely tickled pink with the bamboozlement of believers who, with all good intentions, teach false doctrines to the scripturally hungry. They habitually trade the truth for the more tasteful attributes and socially trends and traditions of men. This consistently happens, when men set rules based on habits instead of wisdom in the Word. While the Word maintains eternal life, a man attempts to feverishly justify what feels comfortable rather than adhering to God’s standard- the truth, man’s principles change with a puff of the wind.

Mark 7:7-9

Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. For laying aside the commandment of God, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition.

The LORD My Rock (Psalm 18:2), we humbly submit thanks for real understanding held exclusively by Your Word. We kneel on our knees with lowed heads bowed and utter soft words of praise in our true worship. We decree and declare blessings with Joy and Happiness; so that, they that wait on the Lord will raise up with wings of an eagle and soar in the ways of the Lord. Now, for Your Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition with the anointing, the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
