Performance In Christianity series
Efficiency In Performance 2
Looking even more in-depth, we see that Paul shared the efficiency of Jesus by declaring in his letter to the Philippians. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:13.
As an adult, I have played (organist) for many ministries where people danced in the Spirit for hours inducing an environment of deliverance. Trust me, not everyone got delivered nor got healed. Some people went home just like they came, but the preacher wondered why? Where they got that notion that everybody would be transformed from, I have no clue, because that was not what Jesus did.
At the Judgment Seat of Christ (The Bema Seat), Jesus will evaluate us based the quality of our work—and our motives—not on the quantity and expectation of selfish desires (1 Corinthians 3:13).
Jesus had a purpose, and you will find it in Mark 1:38. Jesus came to preach Grace. He started a revolution of Grace. Point of concern, the disciples never asked Jesus how to preach; they recognized that real preparation was in prayer. What will you do?
Mark 1:35-38
And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed. And Simon and they that were with him followed after him. And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee. And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.
The Son of God, Jehovah Elohim Yeshua (Matthew 16:16), we thank You for our efficiency in performance. We praise You for the ability to apprehend and to forget those things behind us. We decree and declare blessings upon those who rise early in the morning to pray, so that; by hearing the preached word they seek to serve You. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
