Faith Of The Rapture
The study of Eschatology examines the scriptures and expectations of the "End Times and the events of the Rapture of the Church." Only those who are saved by Faith will be caught up to meet Him in the air. By Faith those who die (sleep) in Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18) will go back with Him to the Bema seat of Christ for judgement (2 Corinthians 5:10).
This verse in 1 Thessalonians 4:14 is foundation to understanding what happens to those who die in the flesh, believing that Jesus Christ is their savior. Although the word "rapture" is not in the Bible but the meaning "to be caught up" is clearly described in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15:50–54. The rapture is to be distinguished from the second coming. At the rapture, the Lord comes “in the clouds” to meet us “in the air” (1 Thessalonians 4:17). At the second coming, the Lord descends all the way to the earth to stand on the Mount of Olives, resulting in a great earthquake followed by a defeat of God’s enemies (Zechariah 14:3–4).
1 Thessalonians 4:14
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
God of my praise, Elohei Tehillati (Psalm 109:1); we thank You for the revelation that will prepare us for the rapture. We praise You for time that we will join You in the clouds and meet us in the air. We decree and declare blessings upon those who by Faith die in Christ, so that; by Faith we who believe will be caught up to meet Him in the Kingdom of God. Now, for the sake of the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
