Find The Truth, Invocation

Matthew 11:25-30

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

The invocation to finding the truth starts with Jesus doing exactly what He taught the disciples in Matthew 6:9-13. Giving thanks to God did not begin in Matthew but is first mentioned in 1 Chronicles 29:13. But this passages comes on the tail end of a powerful rebuke for the cities where He previously ministered, and there was no fruit of repentance. We don't want to treat this passage as a soundbite because we need to take a profound moment and look at what is being revealed for spiritual and emotional healing. Can you see how Jesus opens this passage as a formal prayer?

Elohe Tishuathi, God of My Salvation - Psalm 51:14; we thank You for being the God of our Salvation. We praise You for direction and understanding the sanative effects of prayer. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who have accepted the invocation, so that; we who answer the call will acknowledge the Lord of Heaven and earth. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
