Matthew 11:25-30
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
How is His yoke an implementation of control? In Isaiah 10:27, the prophecy states that the anointing breaks the collar; however, without study, one would be persuaded to think that a yoke only has one meaning. When you study the Word about the Anointing, it symbolizes Jesus by the Holy Spirit (Luke 4:18). The control of Jesus' yoke represents the particular lifestyle we adopt at conversion to Christ (Colossians 3:1-4, Colossians 3:11, Psalm 51:10). Satan would lead us to believe, like Adam & Eve in the garden, there was something more significant than the Word of God (Genesis 3:3-11). His yoke controls us by our choice; by the renewing our minds (Romans 12:2), we give up the SIN nature and seek to do our Masters will. The misdirection of the colonizers in America (1619) took the purity of scripture to impose a system of chattel slavery to take advantage of Africans who they attempted to dominate. Is your yoke a lifestyle controller?
Jehovah Elohim Ab, The LORD God of your forefathers - Joshua 18:3; we thank you for being the Lord God of our forefathers. We praise You for our assimilation in salvation in Jesus Christ. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know that Your yoke is not a burden but an obligation, so that, as we yoke ourselves with Your yoke, we free ourselves with redemption. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
