Find The Truth, The Invitation (14)
Matthew 11:25-30
At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him. Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Jesus exemplified His yoke as the obligation of His mission (Luke 4:18–19). He came to save the world or, more particularly, those who would seek salvation based on "the promise" (Genesis 3:15, Genesis 12:3, Acts 3:25–26). Humans born of a woman and the seed of man assimilate the nature of Satan (2 Corinthians 6:14); that was a choice, it also came with a yoke which we recognize today as the "yoke of man" (Isaiah 58:6). The yoke observation in the perspective of Jesus adumbrates or foreshadows discipleship (Matthew 11:29). We, with our flesh-selves, find the idea of being bridled with Christs' yoke lugubrious, sad and gloomy; and seek to be sprezzatura, nonchalant, given to sensuality, lasciviousness (Ephesians 4:19). Is it easy to live a lifestyle of self-inflicted nonsense?
Jehovah El Elyon, The LORD, the Most High God - Genesis 14:22; we thank You for being our Lord, our Most High God. We praise You for the evidence of our spiritual yoke. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who examine the yoke of SIN, so that; those who accept the yoke of Jesus will experience eternal salvation. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
