He Encourages You

Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)

The following Bible verses on being strong show us biblical examples of strength and the faith it takes to trust in God so completely that He is your strength. Imagine how much faith it took for Abraham to be willing to sacrifice his long-awaited son Isaac.

He Encourages You

Joshua 1:9-11

Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God [is] with thee whithersoever thou goest. Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying, Pass through the host, and command the people, saying, Prepare you victuals; for within three days ye shall pass over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land, which the LORD your God giveth you to possess it.

God speaking to Joshua said, "Be strong and of good courage; be not afraid…" Joshua was being told to forsake the self-inflicted nonsense of his work, inculcate or use persistent instruction in what he had been taught. Be healthy, and have outstanding courage and not be diffident or shy about what mighty work He has done for us by Grace.

Elohenu Olam, Our Everlasting God- Psalm 48:14; we bind our hearts in servitude and give You thanks. For the Grace that You have bestowed upon us, we give you everlasting praise. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who have listened to Your instruction, so that; our lives reflect the Grace that You gifted us. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
