Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
The following Bible verses on being strong show us biblical examples of strength and the faith it takes to trust in God so completely that He is your strength. Imagine how much faith it took for Abraham to be willing to sacrifice his long-awaited son Isaac.
We Are Not Alone
2 Timothy 4:16-18
At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge. Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Herein lies the personality of Paul as when presented before Caesar in Rome. The curious thing is that during this persecution, no one came to witness for him. In Rome was a large congregation with many outstanding citizens, but no one appeared on Paul's behalf. There will be times when you are right, but no will stand beside you for comfort or witness, no one but the Lord. Let this be of comfort to you.
El Elohe Yisrael, The mighty God of Israel - Genesis 33:20; You sustain us, and we thank you. In a spirit of oneness, we lift our hands for being our Rock and Shield; we give you praise. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who do not fail at the lack of human companionship; so that; our trust will be in You. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
