Troubled Times (COVID-19 pandemic series)
Though we aren’t promised an easy life, we are told that Christ will be there with us when we believe in Him, that he won’t give us more than we can handle with His help, and even our hard times can be used to glorify God.
In His Grace
2 Corinthians 12:9
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
The appearance of things, especially the Grace of God, is unwittily overshadowed by our self-inflicted nonsense. Our sense of self-preservation causes us to believe the provision of God is not enough. We are so short-sighted that anything that is beyond the moment of our concern is taking to long to be a condition of Hope. Do our infirmities overwhelm us, or is the power of Christ enough to sustain us? The Creator of All Things said His Grace is sufficient for us, and His strength is the energizer of our weakness.
Elohim, The Strong, Creator God- Genesis 1:1, 2; for the assurance of our sufficiency we give You thanks. Your strength has made us strong in our weakness, and we give You praise. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who sustain their infirmities and weakness, so saints of the Most High might properly exalt that; the Glory of God. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
