In Their Trouble
Psalms 107:19-21
Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
The action of crying as seen in this Psalm indicates a response to pain (Psalm 102:1-2). Pain is an adverse reaction to something or somethings that hurt, mentality, spiritually or physically (Romans 8:18). We could write a book about all the types of pain but allow us to focus on the mental angst of trouble (John 14:1, Psalm 34:6). How do you see "trouble?" If you are crying out to the Lord, then trouble represents anywhere outside of the will of God. Is the distress of not being within the spiritual comfort of God trouble?
El Sali, God, my Rock - 2 Samuel 22:47; we thank You for being our God our Rock. We praise You for hearing us when we cried. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who cried to the Lord, so that; He that hears our cry will help us during our time of trouble. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
