Healing Pain During Covid-19
These verses collectively and individually address our pain, how we identify with adversity, and answers from God. This collection of comforting scriptures will help guide you toward whole and complete healing.
In Their Trouble - 4
Psalms 107:19-21
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and He saveth them out of their distresses. He sent out His Word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.
The context of these scriptures leads us to a sagacious or more profound understanding and respect for "crying, trouble, distress, His Word and Healing." At this juncture, as we draw to the close of this semi-colon in verse 20), there is a declarative statement "and healed them, (Psalm 107:20" implying the restoration of normalcy. Healing is a process but healed signifies a process completed, as in past tense (James 5:14-15). The God-head has no restriction with definitive time; God works in Kairos (Mark 1:15). Is His Son enough to heal you of your pain?
Addendum: Psalms 107:20a
El Simchath Gili, God My Exceeding Joy - Psalm 43:4; we thank You for being the God of my exceeding Joy. We praise You for the more profound understanding of healing. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who know Your Healing; so that, as we increase in our Trust in You, we surrender the stress of pain. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with the anointing of the Holy Ghost, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
