In Their Trouble - 7
Psalms 107:19-21
Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saveth them out of their distresses. He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
In the close of the verse Psalm 107:21, we again visit reason for praising God- His wonderful works towards the children of Adam! All humanity traces back to Adam and Eve, the progenitors of all mankind (Genesis 4:1). The impact of what God does and the reason He does it is core to our understanding and cause for our celebration as we lift our voices in praise to Him for His Goodness (1 Chronicles 16:34). Is the opposing position to goodness evil (Romans 12:21)? God does not give us evil and call it good (Isaiah 5:20) and what He does is wonderful to us, so why do we hesitate to worship Him? When in trouble, we cry to Him, and He saves us out of our distress (Psalms 107:19). He heals us with His Word (Jesus) and delivers us from destruction. Will you be one of those that will praise Him for His wonderful works?
Elohe Tsadeki, God of My Righteousness - Psalm 4:1; we thank You for being the God of our righteousness. We praise You for Your wonderful works toward us. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who see the wonderful works of the Almighty, so that; we who praise Him will enjoy being the children of men. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
