Spiritual and Emotional Healing
Sin, abuse, neglect, rejection, betrayal all cause significant emotional and spiritual pain that hurt just as physical pain does. God, our Great Physician, can ultimately heal our broken hearts and bind our wounds, healing, and making us whole. Spiritual and emotional healing is often a process with steps that we need to put action behind. Use these scriptures to guide your heart and mind toward full recovery.

1 Peter 2:24
Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
The recording of Isaiah 53:5 is the prime reference for this passage of scripture and the “c” section of this verse. Isaiah prophesized the sacrifice of the Messiah, our Lord. Peter spoke with these words of comfort to us because Christ was our example. If we do as our example, then we should have spiritual and emotional healing, for by His precious stripes are we healed. The sacrifice of Jesus was not pretty; it was gory and bloody, a sight of great pain and self-sacrifice; this was something that cost Him, and He paid the price. Will you suffer for the cause of Christ?
El Hayyay, God of My Life - Psalm 42:8; we thank You God of our Life for the sacrifice of Your Son who died for us. We praise You for Your Son, who gave Himself for us as the ultimate sacrifice. We declare and decree the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who see the example of Christ, so that; we who suffer broken hearts and wounded spirits will use His example as our guide. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
