Looking For God?

Reasons To Hope

Here a few biblical reasons for hope.

Looking For God?

Zephaniah 3:17

The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing.

Most of us look for a Savior in our time of need, and Zephaniah saw what many of us see today. We have forgotten reproof and the threats of correction and have fallen into an abundance of wickedness like the wayward Children of Israel. The work of reformation is never easy, and neither is the work of salvation. "The conversion of sinners and the consolation of saints are the joy of angels, for they are the joy of God Him-self. The church should be the joy of the whole earth (Ps. 48:2), for it is the joy of the whole heaven." (Matthew Henry Commentary)

Head of the Church —Ephesians 1:22, 23. God the Son, Jesus, is the head of the Church. As the head, the part of the body that sees hears, thinks, and decides, He gives the orders that the rest of the body lives by, and we give Him thanks. Engraved in the deepest parts of our hearts, we find the Hope of the world, and in a spirit of oneness, we provide him with praise. We decree and declare utmost blessings of the Almighty for the He is in among us, so that; we who hope to find salvation, find rejoicing, and rest in His love. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
