Measurement of Performance

Performance In Christianity series

Measurement of Performance

We have introduced performance as power, now let's look at performance through measurement. In Genesis 6:1-3, we find an illustration of measurement, And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years. There are several factors of performance that can be gleaned from these verses; however, we will focus on the measurement of performance reflected by multiplication and the distinction of sons of God and the daughter of men. Understand the "sons of God" is not a reference to "the Son" of God.

The sons and daughter mix brings us to understand the level of Christian performance as a measure of what can happen and what did happen when God ordains something as a fulfillment of an obligation. 1 Corinthians 9:9-15, speaks to the reward of labor or more directly the work of God manifested by faith and it portrays an order of understanding what most of us find difficult to process, but yet it is Truth.

Deuteronomy 25:15

But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

The LORD Thy Redeemer, Jehovah Goelekh (Isaiah 60:16), we thank You for our performance examined through measurement. We praise You for our accountability to multiply, our strength as well as our degree of Faith. We decree and declare blessings upon those who act in Christian performance with measurement, so that; with Your guidance, we will make progress in the building of our Christianity. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
