The Give-Up Season series
Met Me In Paradise
In His last moments on the cross, Jesus says to a thief next to Him, "Today shalt thou be with me in paradise." Imagine the feeling of the guilty thief, scoured, convicted, and sentenced to die on a wooden cross; bleeding, broken and bruised, dangling on nails, stretched wide and with the Savior of the World beside him, telling him that he will be saved from hell. Who is this man-Jesus? He had heard about Jesus, but to be hanging beside Him, gave Him hope beyond hope, and to hear Him say that he would be with the Hebrew King, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords.
What a time, what a special moment. What would you have given to be the thief by the placement of Grace to hear Jesus tell you an undeserving thief, guilty as sin but forgiven by the Son of God to have eternal life? Nothing but Mercy, nothing but Grace, met me in paradise.
Luke 23:43
And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
The LORD Thy Redeemer (Isaiah 60:16); we as the unified body of Christ, thank you for the opportunity of the thief on the cross who went to paradise. We praise You because we now have the same chance as the thief. We declare and decree blessings of Grace and Mercy with Faith; so that, we magnify Your Name with the expectancy of seeing You in the Rapture. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
