The Arrival of Peace (week 4)
Peace in a Person, peace that can't be explained, peace that comes in the middle of the storm and surpasses all understanding. That Peace that envelops our hearts when we need it most. When we need Him most. This closes our Advent series and today we celebrate the birth of our King-Jesus Christ. Enjoy this day for the reason He came.
Prince of Peace
The only reason for this season of the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace. We celebrate His birth today, not because it is the actual day of His birth but because He came to give us peace. Promised from the beginning of time He came that we might have life, life more abundantly through our faith in His Word.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
Heavenly Father, Maker of Heaven and Earth, we thank you for this day we celebrate the child which was born, and the Son who was given. We praise You for the government of this world is upon His shoulder and He is Wonderful and our Counselor. We decree and declare in recognition of His birth, so that those who believe will know that He is the The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father and the Prince of Peace. Now, for the Kingdom and the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
