Performance In Christianity series
Real Metrics 7
"Performance metrics are used to measure the behavior, activities, and performance of a business. This should be in the form of data that measures required data within a range, allowing a basis to be formed supporting the achievement of overall business goals" Sage.com. Measuring performance through metrics is key to seeing how Christians are working with Faith and whether targets are being met.
Galatians 6:8 points to the activity that sets the baseline of this metric, the paradigm, or model of developing goals. The demarcation of boundaries of the flesh and the embracement of the Spirit is fundamental or critical to implementing a measurable result. We believe that Christians who have endured the process of evaluation (2 Timothy 2:3) be the first generation to engage the shift for future Church leaders constructively. They will have a greater appreciation for the procedure. In environments where there isn't a natural hierarchy for the duplication of the process is not likely to happen consistently nor with an accurate model for future utilizations.
1 Peter 1:22-23 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the Truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. The exertion of this metric speaks powerfully to the engagement of developing the Kingdom of God on earth--the Church or Ecclesia. Can we resist the unction to employ performance measurement in Christianity?
Galatians 5:16
This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
God in Heaven, Elohim Bashamayim (Joshua 2:11), we thank You for measuring the strength of our metrics. We praise You for our understanding of Christian behavior, activities, and performance of works for the Kingdom. We decree and declare blessings upon those who measure the event of our growth in the Body of Christ, so that; by employing the process of performance, we enhance the Kingdom of God. Now, for the Glory of God, we petition, with anointing in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
