Should We Pray for Ministers?

Hard Times May Come, But He’s There With Us Through Them All

Though we aren’t promised an easy life, we are told that Christ will be there with us when we believe in Him, that he won’t give us more than we can handle with His help, and even our hard times can be used to glorify God.

Should We Pray for Ministers?

2 Thessalonians 3:16

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace always in every way. The Lord be with you all.

The first verse in this chapter begins with a petition, “pray for us,” with the purpose- fortifying the freedom and glorification supporting the ministry of Jesus Christ. In this chapter, the “us” refers to people in the ministry- ministers, those who study, apply, and promote the message of God. In the 16th verse, we are admonished to face hard times with the peace of God in every way. The blessing or establishment of the Holy Spirit is indicated to be permanent- and global. Are you responsible for praying for your minister? What about praying for others in the ministry of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Will you pray for them as well?

Jehovah Hashopet, The LORD the Judge - Judges 11:27; we thank You for the Peace that You made our duty to support those who You have called into the ministry. We lift praise for Your Glory in the success of the Gospel Ministry through Your servants. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who labor in this life to promulgate the Ministry of Jesus Christ, so that; we who petition for the needs of them who serve in the Gospel for His sake will do well. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
