The Absence of Pain -3
Romans 8:16-18
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
The absence of pain relates to the concrete understanding and realization that pain stems from our lack of a spiritual position with God. Pain is easily recognized by those who don't believe in Jesus because the nature of SIN is pain (1 Chronicles 4:10, 2 Corinthians 1:5; 4:17-18). Suffering with Christ is our obligation (Galatians 2:20)- people spend tremendous amounts of time preparing their bodies for physical activities but very little time understanding the suffering of Jesus. Would we be in a better position to understand how to be without pain if we studied the purpose of Jesus?
Jehovah Kanna Shemo, The LORD Whose Name Is Jealous- Exodus 34:14; we thank You for being the Lord whose name is Jealous, we know that You want all of us and You have given all to us. We praise You for the opportunity to suffer with Christ in His pain as we prepare for the absence of pain. We decree and declare the blessing (the indwelling of the Holy Spirit) upon those who bear the pain of our relationship, so that; we who are the Joint-heirs with Christ bear witness of His suffering. Now, for the Kingdom and Glory of God, we petition, with anointing, in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, Amen.
